take you on a roller-coaster ride through a maniacal funhouse of eldritch horrors and blazing laser swords. We dig our teeth into gutsy genre stories and movies that aren't afraid to take on a gang of vampire nuns.

Episode 02

Grind Pulp Podcast is here to talk all things Grind Pulp. In the episode we talk Weird Westerns and discuss three short stories as well as weird western movies.

1. Greenhorns - William R. D. Wood
2. Unicorn Western 1 - Sean Platt & Johnny B. Truant
3. Of all the Plagues A Lover Bears - Derrick Ferguson

1. Westworld - Michael Crichton
2. El Topo - Alejandro Jordorowsky
3. Cowboys vs. Aliens - John Favreau

A few more movies get mentioned. Andrew bashes on the Better off Undead podcast (this just our second episode), and other hi-jinx ensue.

  1. Podcast #2 in the can! Enjoyed the hell out of it. Can't wait for #3.

  2. Another thing about WESTWORLD that makes it so memorable: it's Michael Crichton's first directoral effort and for a first timer he did a damn fine job. One of these days I've got to get around to seeing EL TOPO as I've got friends who have been telling me for years that I have to see it.

And thank you guys so much for your good words about Sebastian Red and "Of All The Plagues A Lover Bears." I'm glad you enjoyed it so much and I have plans for collecting the three stories in one volume along with a brand-new story; "The Bloodstained Trail." Keep up the excellent work on the podcast. I really like the give and take between you guys. You're obviously having a lot of fun and it comes across very well.
